I've realized it's when there is too much fun to be had, I neglect the blog.
Things have been a little busy. Hooray!
Where to start...
Last week at the Dallas Professional Photographer's Association I scored First Place in the folio category with my handmade box. This was my first attempt at making this type of box. It was certainly a learning experience. The biggest thing I learned was to not make them at 2:00 a.m. when math is already such a challenge for me during the daylight hours.
Thanks for this picture Will! It's quite embarrassing.
I had such a great weekend! One of those I wish I could do all over... my sister & niece came up for a party on Friday night. Then we shopped at the local flea market on Saturday morning (in the rain) to find some cute stuff. That afternoon I taught them how to make these boxes. Saturday night, I talked them into trying sushi for the first time! They were so brave & loved it!
To end our night, we did what every Jameyson woman would do... we each bought a QUART of peanut butter chocolate ice cream from Baskin Robbins.
Then Sunday we were back at the Kenny concert. The weather was so perfect this time around!
Now, back to work. This will be another fun week... family shoot/1 year old shoot for a super cute family. Then off to the Hill Country for Memorial Day.
